Passionate supporters of the actress are calling for that a person who breached a barrier and touched the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or removed from Singapore.

A circulating video reveals the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and lunging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a event pathway surrounded by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though official papers showed that he was set to be present on the following morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

History of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a performance. His Instagram feed features clips of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney concert in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last December.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is evidently a legal violation," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Followers Voice Worry Over Grande's Past Trauma

Several followers blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote a further response on Instagram.

Some supporters also criticised event staff at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals requested digital services to block Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande looked surprised when she was touched by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Many of Singapore supporters had lined up to meet the actors of Wicked

Many of fans had assembled in a sea of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore shopping center, including a number who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be premiered on 21 November, is the sequel of a two-film adaptation of the well-known theatrical show Wicked, which focuses on the surprising friendship between two distinct sorceresses.

The show itself is a spin-off of the 1900 story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a light pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful film of last year in the UK, and earned ten award recognitions, earning two for outstanding attire and set decoration.
