In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "A strange confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden cult.
The mission concentrates on "strange tests and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Extra Material
Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an exclusive katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
